Thanks for reading Audrey! I really love Canada, but yes, that one time I can't say I did. Of all the times I've crossed the border since then, I have never been stopped like that. I think it was the karma of the little red Brat :)
Thanks Barbara-Helen, I appreciate your comments and the read. I have no idea when the border will open. I heard August 9th, but that was before Delta took off down here. I would keep us all out as long as you can - haha!
Loved this and remembered the stories all of you told about that particular trip🤣🤣and it brought back wonderful memories I have of the trip I made with most of this same group of adventurers and my introduction to the quetico. Best memories of a lifetime 🛶🛶
Oh wow Phyllis, it was incredible that you joined one of our trips. Wasn't it epic? I love that place so much. My memory is a bit fuzzy, so if I forget to tell something or get something wrong, let me know. Hugs from here :)
LOL, describing Sherri as a "put it in drive and go," kind of gal. The canoe toss was a delicious fruit of exasperation catching me by surprise. Cheers!
Thanks so much Terry for your comments, which I love and look forward to! It's the best description of Sherri I can think of - truly! Hope you are well!
Thanks Jim! I couldn't find my old pics to scan in (yes I'm that old - ha!) so I found Josh Hold who lives up there and is a great photographer. He captured the feeling and place better than I did at the time I think :)
you're all warriors.
and it's called cana-DUH, sometimes.

Awesome story Michelle. Wonder how long the border will take to open so you can come back.

Love this story Michelle, I could see you chucking the canoe, lol! Great writing!
Thanks for the comments and the read Elizabeth! I really wish we could do a trip like that in T. Bay one of these days :)
