Great narrative. If only world peace could come from a special bottle of wine passed around the bonfire👏👏

Right? I'm a dreamer, can't help it. I have to be able to wish for it to stay sane. Thanks for the read of taking a moment to share your thoughts. Miss you Phyllis!

Lovely story, I can taste the wine! You have a curious way of intimacy and information and swirled into a story, which, it made me chuckle. It's a lovely story. Yes, even the ending. (I'm in France right now,) that big distance between Putin and Macron would have been certainly better with some of your P Wine!!!

Thanks so much for the good words Jeanne. I hope things are well with you in France, and I wish I could send some of this wine over - ha!

A well-woven tale where past meets present meets a dreamy future. Evocative and sensory— I can almost taste the sweetness of the party and the wine

I love how relatable your writing is. I can imagine feeling uncomfortable at a party. Then, your descriptions of events is amazing! I felt the flames of the fire on my face! Great work!

Oh what a lovely scene you conjur at the campfire with Becca's brew! And vividly reminiscent of other campfires across my years. Thanks for another fine story!

Good to see you here Terry, thanks for dropping in and giving it a read. And as always, I appreciate your thoughts and comments. I truly hope we'll sit around a campfire someday, maybe in Alaska. Until then, wishing you a warm, cozy winter.
