A beautiful peak into your world. I am pleased that I get to hear from you about your micro-farm and I remember when I was younger and lived on a farm. Now in an apartment where the neighbours age and the flowers bloom a bit before the heat takes over. I make pictures with threads and remember gramma's garden of flowers.
I love your description of your own life!! "I make pictures with threads and remember gramma's garden flowers." - really lovely passage! What do you miss the most about living on a farm? You describe a very peaceful life now! Thanks so much for sharing a glimpse of your world - I love seeing into other people's stories.
What I miss most is going to the garden with the salt shaker and eating tomatoes (real, ripe,) tomatoes. That was when I was a kid. The land was hard clay and we took our chances on it raining because I don't remember us having to carry water to water the garden much. It was work but it was worth it.
Loved this - "I leave you now to go fold mine and turn a few shoulds to coulds before the day runs out on this good-sized garden in the woods." - What a wonderful ending sentence. Also love that you included a video. Well done.
Happy Solstice, Michelle!
Thanks, Dianne! Happy Solstice to you as well! Are you back home in Alaska? Hope you are well.
